Nothing the hotel was noisy and not particularly clean - not an enjoyable stay.
The location is quite good, next to a petrol station with grocery store. However, I do not understand how it can have a ranking of 6,3 points, because the location is the only good thing this hotel can offer.
I travel very often and this was my first very bad experience with a hotel via Booked.net. The pictures of the room are untrue! I wish I could upload mine - our bathroom was at least 25y old and smelled bad, the room did not look as the one on the pictures, it was much older, unpolite staff(except one receptionist). I have spoken to other guests and they were also very unsatisfied.
The location is superb. Only three blocks from the tube, great local establishments for good quality food for super cheap prices!
The bed was uncomfortable. The rooms are overcrowded with furniture - we asked for a double room and got a room with 6 beds. Light bulbs did not work in the bathroom. The room had a few cockroaches. The staff were generally rude. The breakfast room was badly disorganised and it was evident that the staff could not cope with the rush hour.
The Mangement made great effort to accomodate us when we refused the first room offered, this was an upgrade to apartment. Good value for room & breakfast, and close to transport.
The lift was not working the day we arrived and were offered a room on 2nd floor up quite narrow starcase. .
tea making option in room; breakfast was excellent
sloping floor, and double bed next to wall making access difficult' we slept in the two beds provided rather than together
The secure car parking, the foyer, and dining area. The location, its only 2 mins walk from Finsbury Park Tube Station, Which was ideal for me and the group I was with as was watching Arsenal Play.
The toilets were only 1 foot off the ground (no joke- have pictures) its the smallest toilet I have ever seen, the bathroom was small, I even hit my head brushing my teeth on the rail they had over the sink. If they put as much effort in the rooms as they do the reception/dining area, this hotel would be lovely. Tv was temperamental aswell. The smell in the corridor is awful.
Room should be ready at 1 pm, I have to wait two hours, until 3 pm, rooms without bathroom.
The value for money and the quality of the breakfasts were most acceptable. The staff were also helpful and pleasant.
The room was rather sparse and cluttered. The furnishings did not allow for ladies to comfortably carry out their evening preparations. Whilst the rooms were superficially clean it did appear that a thorough cleaning was needed.
It was reasonably close to Finsbury Park station, on the Picadilly line from Heathrow
Dirty, staff uninterested, no hot water for 3 days, photos on website not the true picture eg no towel rails, toilet roll holder, little equipment in the kitchen and it was dirty, no means of cleaning it, no plugs in sink or basin. Having to hand in your key when you go out and then having to look for staff to get it back to return to your room at night, 20mins wait outside one night. You've paid as you book in, so they don't care.
There are the good personnel, normal rooms and meal
Not so good area of an arrangement
The girl on reception when I arrived was vey welcoming and helpful.
It was very noisy with people coming and going at all hours. The room wasnt particularly clean and the bathroom was very small and had a number of broken accessories and exposed wires!
Great location. Modern. Very helpful staff. Brilliant value for money.
Little bit of dust in the room and a leaky shower but generally a nice clean room.
The efficiency and friendliness of the staff. The car parking.
Dirty bathroom, curtains hanging down and broken. Walls had been painted and paint had gone onto tiles and lampshades. Very small tv. Some of the small milk cartons in our room had gone bad. Towels were very threadbare. Pillows very thin.
The location is very good, and it's very close to tube station. Room is clear and quiet, staff are friendly n cheerfully. Will stay again.
Breakfast is pool and room toilet and shower room r small.
Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Good breakfast
Decor a bit dated, no hairdryer
